Unleash the Joy: Piaoje Pleasure Makes its Global Debut with Hybrid and Electric Power Options to Hit Markets by End of Year

Baojun Elegance Makes Global Debut as Premium Electric SUV

On January 16, the Baojun brand under SAIC Motor unveiled its latest luxury electric vehicle, the Baojun Elegance. The new model has already been finalized and is set to cater to the demands of urban elite and young aspirational families in various aspects.

The two models - a white color for the pure electric version, and black for the plug-in hybrid version - will be launched in the domestic market. Baojun claims that the Elegance prioritizes quality and smartness as it addresses an increasing demand for high-end and technologically sophisticated travel experiences.

Exteriors

The exterior design of the Baojun Elegance showcases different approaches based on power types, which provide distinct visual impressions. The pure electric version features a modern family-style facade with 7-lens headlights reminiscent of the new designs adopted by Baojun, paired with sealed front grille bars that add to its stylish look.

The plug-in hybrid model, on the other hand, has taken inspiration from circular lenses with a strip running along their bottom and edges. These design elements contribute to an elevated level of aesthetic.

Sides

The profile of the Elegance boasts attractive and sleek lines, showcasing a sporty silhouette while maintaining comfort and relaxation. With an evenly distributed weight of body parts, it exudes harmony and provides a more natural riding experience. Moreover, the inclusion of hidden door handles contributes positively to aerodynamics.

On one hand, the car features dimensions that are standard for its class, measuring 5005/1900/1505(mm) in length, width, and height respectively when being compared with plug-in hybrid models. They offer ample space with an optimal capacity, thus catering effectively to families on-the-go or couples who travel long distances together.

On the other hand, we have a more slender configuration taking its form from Baojun's previous cars. In contrast, it provides a sense of elegance while contributing to less body drag.

Rear

The design of the rear fascia presents itself in line with Baojun’s existing style codes and meets user expectations well. The overall layout features two strips of LED lights that create an integrated feel across both models, adding depth beyond visual appeal alone.

For instance, along each side, they run parallel like a pair of lines from where they diverge near the rear spoiler at which time we also have to look at additional minor accents that not only give them a sleek appearance but enhance their durability through robust finishes on hardware and more.

Driven by Baojun's vision of offering customers with comprehensive features, quality products that make mobility possible while bringing value back home—this marks one step forward towards achieving this goal.
