BMW Shanghai Motor Show 2025: New Car Lineup and Features Unveiled

At the upcoming BMW Group press conference, which took place on March 31st, BMW unveiled its 2025 lineup of new cars for the Shanghai motor show. The lineup includes several models that are expected to make a thrilling appearance in domestic markets.

Among the models showcased by BMW is the VDX generation concept car of the X1 series, as well as several limited-edition vehicles such a the BMW 3 Series 50th Anniversary model and the M4 High Performance Limited Edition. One specific limited-edition model is expected to feature unique marks in the design and trim levels compared to its nonlimited versions, which have been listed for sale as part of 14 models with prices ranging from 29.99-39.99万元. The rumored limited version will get some special changes. Furthermore, a standard version in front has an updated look that will see the headlights placed vertically.

Interestingly one more model got unveiled its whole line up is based upon the Neue Klasse platform. This new platform is expected to improve overall performance and efficiency of BMW vehicles. BMW announced too that it's planning its next generation car from this latest platform in 2026, according to the design chief of BMW.
