Biad HANL and TANG L to Go on Sale on March 17th
Beibei, a Chinese multinational automaker, is set to launch its two new models, the HanL and Tang L, for pre-sale starting from March 17th. Both cars will be positioned at the 30,000 yuan level and will feature plug-in hybrid and pure electric powertrain options.
For those who may want a brief recap of the new vehicles, both the HanL and Tang L will adopt the latest Loong Face design language developed by Beibidi. The HanL features refined front fascias with slim, elongated headlamps and active air intakes, while its tail section boasts the iconic "Phoenix Wings" taillights.
In terms of dimensions, the HanL measures 5050mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1505mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2970mm. The available paint colors are Luminous Silver, Mocha Bamboo Green, and Slate Gray.
The TangL boasts a unique front fascia design featuring partitioned headlamps surrounded by active air intakes, inspired by traditional Chinese folding fan designs. Its tail section features the "Tibetan Melody" taillights, a tribute to ancient Chinese craftsmanship techniques.
When it comes to performance, both vehicles will offer hybrid and electric options, with the HanL introducing a new Super E platform for pure-electric vehicles equipped with a brand-new lithium-ion battery pack. The single-motor version boasts an output of 500 kw, while the dual-motor setup delivers 230 kw from the front electric motor and 580 kw from the rear electric motor.
The DM-P variant will be powered by Biad's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology coupled with a new 1.5-liter hybrid engine that produces 115 kW of power and an electric motor capable of delivering 200 kW. The new models also feature advanced technologies such as equipped drone, intelligent suspension, as well as LiDAR sensor systems.
