Audi CLA PHEV: What to Expect from the Upcoming Electric SUV
The upcoming electric Audi CLA will be built on the Modular Matrix Architecture (MMA), a platform designed to offer a combination of light, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric motor options. The new model is expected to launch in early 2025 and will make its domestic debut with a long-wheelbase version.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Audi CLA PHEV features a closed-off grille, flanked by large headlights that form a triangular shape, while LED daytime running lights in a three-pronged pattern can be spotted on the dashboard. The front end also boasts a rectangular intake for airflow and side slits to enhance aerodynamics.
To the side, the design is characterized by rounded shoulders, with the roofline moving smoothly from front to rear. The vehicle should benefit from superior aerodynamic performance. Despite being shrouded in disguises, it can still reveal that this model would have a semi-circular-and-triangular LED light at the bottom of the car.
