Porsche Launches Taycan 4 Rear-Wheel Drive Model for Pre-Sales
Porsche has officially launched the pre-sale of its new Taycan 4 rear-wheel drive model, with an initial asking price of 892,800 yuan.
The entry-level Taycan 4 comes equipped with a rear-wheel drive configuration touted to deliver enhanced handling and agility. According to Porsche officials, this layout allows for superior performance in terms of maneuverability.
Design-wise, the new rear-wheel drive variant appears remarkably similar to its Taycan 4 counterpart. The front end boasts a wider and flatter design, complete with large air intakes at the lower section and sleek side skirts emulating a flowing, dynamic design. From the side profile, one is greeted by an expansive trunk lid that lends to a dynamic silhouette.
When it comes to specifications, the taycan 4 promises to deliver with notable features including Porsche’s Sport Chrono component, a rich Bose surround sound system, a comfort entrance feature for ease of boarding the vehicle along with a parking assistance system offering panoramic view. The in-dash display integrates seamlessly Apple Carplay, further enriching driving experiences. Notably also is that the Taycan 4 will come equipped with Porsche’s renowned Double Chamber Dual Flap technology allowing dynamic adjustments.
Under the hood, the new Taycan boasts an impressive single-motor rear-wheel drive configuration boasting a maximum output of 408 horsepower, capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds and a limited top speed of 230 km/h. The new car comes with a 89 kWh battery that boasts considerable energy capacity - reaching 400 kW for efficient regeneration which helps extend its range for driving to as far as 604 kilometers.
