MG4 EV Unveiled in Latest MOCED Directory Entry

The latest edition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MOCED) directory has revealed new information about the eagerly anticipated MG 4 EV. The electric vehicle boasts a fresh design language and comes equipsed with a single electric motor.

Exterior Design

Exterior-wise, the car retains the dynamic styling cues from its predecessor, characterized by a prominent front face, angular features on either side of it and sloping roofline with integrated ventilation slits. The rear tail lights incorporate an arrowhead motif previously seen in the MG Cyberster model, adding a touch of aggression to the design. High-mounted LED brake lights flank the vented trunk lid, complementing the car's sporty silhouette.

Dimensions

Rear view camera provides useful information for owners when parked. Overall dimensions measure 4,395 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width, and 1,551 mm in height. Its wheelbase measures 2,750 mm.

Exterior Colors

A range of exterior colors is available, as well as various trim levels to choose from. Owners can opt for the rear-mounted air-swept spoiler.

Trim Options

Some added features are also included - like rear fog lamps headlights with tinted glass, door sill trims and exterior mirrors as well. In addition to these new options, wheel alloys come standard, along with a panoramic sunroof for natural light. A 360-degree camera system rounds out the trim.

Powertrain

Engine configurations for MG4 EV models currently available include single motor-electric propulsion systems. The motors type is identified by reference number: TZ180XS1001 .Max continuous power delivery and peak power of up to 120kW are reported from these units based on an iron phosphate type battery configuration.
