Geely's Geata Line Launches Expectations with New Model Featuring Huawei KunlunChip

The car manufacturer, Geatai Automobiles recently released a preannouncement on the impending release of its latest dreamhouse model, which will be equipped with the Huawei KunlunAD 3.0. Expected to hit the market as early as February, the price is speculated to start at below 40,000 CNY making it an affordable option compared to the existing model.

The Geatai dreamhouse was initially released in 2021 with a starting price of 42.99 million CNY for the plug-in hybrid version and 44.99 million CNY for its all-electric version.

To provide context, the current model uses Huawei Kunlunads 3.0 Autopilot suite; equipped with hardware and advanced navigation features such as 192 lines laser radar, millimeter wave radar, a high-definition camera, plus twenty seven intelligent recognition sensors like city-NOA no-driving and car-parking assistant.

The power delivery consists of the two models engine maximum output of 150 horsepower, combined 571 horsepowers, CLTC driving state pure electric range is up to 235km while total trip range stands at over a 1411km. Meanwhile the all-electric model features a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with an output power of 435 horsepower and pure electric range reaching up to 650km. The car also comes equipped with unique suspension systems like single wishbone front double A-axis five leaf rear plus magic carpet function for the rear air-suspension, CDC etc.

The manufacturer has confirmed its commitment to providing all upcoming dreamhouses with the Kunlun chip as more details emerge regarding this project.
