Chery Wind God A8L Configurations Leaked, New Car Positioned as Compact Sedan
The latest configurations of Chery's upcoming Wind God A8L have been leaked, revealing the car's key features and upgrades compared to its predecessor. The new compact sedan is positioned as a plug-in hybrid vehicle, boasting a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor.
Upgraded Features
The newly revealed Wind God A8L configurations feature several enhancements compared to its predecessor. These include LED front lit headlights, rain-sense windshield wipers, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and 15.6-inch infotainment screen, high-end audio equipment from the 8155 chip family, car connectivity features, six speakers, clear suspension, driver-powered electric seat, rear multi-arm suspension, exterior mirror heating and folding with auto- dimming, window shading system, navigation system and an additional 10 safety airbags
Mid-range trim level will have additions to its interior like a panoramic roof, air conditioning for the front seats, external rearview mirrors heated and folding etc.
High-end luxury variant has additional safety features. Blue tooth wireless charging keys, ambient lighting, Driver seated seat memory and storage systems as well as an enhanced voice controlling system with support of 20 plus voice commands in 30 seconds , customizable scenes that can be up to five scenes
Dimensions-wise, the new car will feature slightly larger body, larger front end.
Design Changes
One highlight of this Wind God A8L is the revised exterior design elements. The overall aesthetic seems more imposing and grander.

Powertrain
The plug-in hybrid drivetrain, featuring the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine coupled with an electric motor, will deliver a maximum power output of 115 kW. With this configuration, the WLTC combined fuel consumption is reported to be 1.01 L/100km, providing for a pure-electric range of up to 106 km under WLTC conditions in hybrid test run
