Harvia Haval MAX Previewed with Teaser Images, Expected Update Next Year

The official website of Longchen Automobile has released teaser images for the new generation Haval JaguarMAX, which is set to be introduced within the next year. The redesign takes inspiration from nature, drawing its aesthetic cues from the sky, ocean, stars, and shooting stars.

The first preview image showcases a bold facelift design with an entirely novel approach to styling, featuring a point-array type LED headlight system called "Didal Light". According to the preview image released after turning up the brightness, it provides a dynamic look. The front of the vehicle features a closed grille and oversized air vents, while its fog lights are designed to give off striking visual effects.

The side profile displays a distinct line for the floating car roof with a design inspired by "Leapfrog over Water" and an elongated shoulder that mimics the "Meteorite passing through the sky." The wheels boast an exotic design resembling "Lotus Blossom", whereas the rear comes with mesmerizing flashing tail lights called "Glittering Celestial River."

According to various leaks, it is expected that the interior design closely mirrors the new generation Harvia Haval H6. An upcoming teaser will feature a bigger floating screen, and for the first time in years, directions displays a HUD-like device combined with traditional LED speedometers along with Liquid Crystal Displays on the instrument cluster.

No update regarding powertrain could be spotted from any preview imagery so far. For reference purposes, the new JaguarMAX predecessor is powered by a 1.5L engine in conjunction with four-wheeled drive mechanism that generates maximum power of 279 horsepowers and an overall torque level of 585 Nm (combined). It comes equipped with standard gear - DHT variable speed automatic transmission system with a limited pure electric driving range via NEDC specification measuring 105km.
