Ford Ranger EV: A Brighter Future Arrives in 2027 - Pure Electric Off-Road Dominance Set to Take Center Stage

Ford Plans to Unveil All-New Electric Pickup Truck, Ranger EV, in 2027

The all-new electric pickup truck, Ranger EV, is expected to hit the market in 2027 under Ford's chief executive officer, Jim Farley. The new vehicle will mark a significant departure for Ford by being the first model to use a primary electric platform.

A series of released structural diagrams provide insight into the size and design of the upcoming vehicle which seems largely identical to its gasoline-powered counterpart in terms of length but with a noticeable reduction in front end dimensions. This results in more space available inside the cabin for both passengers and cargo.

The vehicle also comes equipped with an extensive battery pack, laid flat across the base of the machine, as well as low-drag wheels for better aerodynamics.

As far as powertrain capabilities are concerned only limited information is currently being released. The chief executive officer Jim Farley hinted that it would boast longer journeys and greater utility.

More information about this upcoming model will be closely monitored to ensure accurate delivery at press release moments later
