Geely's New Electric SUV Rolls Out, Challenges Existing Market Leaders
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has revealed the Geely brand's latest electric SUV model, dubbed the "Rich康 06", which is anticipated to attract more competition in the Chinese market.
The new Richarkan 06 retains design similarities with its predecessor, the Wind god L7, but introduces distinct features, particularly noticeable on their front fascias. The former uses a novel layout for grilles flanking the vehicle, a departure from the standard appearance of the larger vehicles available. Design-wise, this product showcases an updated and aggressive front-end.
Mechanically, while boasting comparable capabilities to its predecessor's full electrical range of 518 km under CLTC testing criteria, Richarkan 06 cuts through the sticker price, which offers more affordability in comparison.
With regards to specifications, features include a sleeker styling without any visible grills but with dual color schemes. Features also encompass 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped over Michelin tyres coupled with hidden side handle and a spacious interior space for optimal passenger comfort.
Power lies behind its advanced motor supplied from Chinese automotive parts manufacturing giant Chi new technological corporation, providing a maximum of 160 kilowatts, backed by innovative sodium ferro Phosphate lithium batteries provided by Middle King technology.
