Magma Edition: Tesla's Hidden Secret Gearbox Unveiled, Ready for Fall Release

Porsche to Unveil Production Version of GV60 Magma in Autumn 2025

A set of spy shots have been surfaced, giving us a glimpse into the production version of Porsche's upcoming GV60 Magma. While the design largely follows the teaser images of the concept car, there are some notable tweaks.

According to insiders, the production variant is expected to boast dual electric motors, delivering a combined maximum output of 650 horsepower (478 kW). This will mark an exciting step forward for Porsche in its electric vehicle lineup.

Under the hood, the upcoming GV60 Magma boasts a dual-electric-motor configuration, promising unparalleled performance and efficiency. Additional details about the vehicle's specifications are still under wraps, but this latest development offers fans of the brand a tantalizing glimpse into what is to come.

Design Overview

While the exterior may not reveal too much in terms of changes from the existing prototype model due to protective camouflage clothing, some key styling elements, such as the altered wheel design and the removal of the air intake and instead employing flow plates have caught our eye. Carrying on from the current design language, it will come as little surprise that we also see these distinctive aerodynamic solutions at play in this production variant. The rear section promises an additional airflow effect through twin spoiler elements but retains the original upper rear diffuser.

Additionally, Porsche appears poised to maintain its trend of elevating interior sophistication by incorporating 27-inch, one-piece dual screens with a dual-screen display in their upcoming GV60 Magma electric SUV. Alongside this new aesthetic overhaul, other design choices seen on the predecessor model — including textured leather trim and sporty seats like the bucket seat with a rib-like profile — will be continued to emphasize its dynamism.

In terms of power and efficiency, as hinted previously, it’s believed that in addition to offering all-wheel drive capabilities under the hood, which would amplify driving engagement on slippery surfaces. While Porsche did outline their broader strategic goals recently related to developing a global presence with sustainable growth at their latest press conference it remains to be seen exactly when such electrification might begin.
