Stellantis Group Unveils Third Electrification Platform: STLA Frame
Stellantis Group has announced the launch of its latest all-new electrification platform, STLA Frame, specifically designed for full-size pickup trucks and SUVs with modular, non-load-bearing chassis structures. The platform supports a range of powertrains, including internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, hydrogen fuel cells, battery electric vehicles, and plug-in hybrids.
Ram and Jeep Brands to be First to Utilize STLA Frame Platform
The STLA Frame platform is designed to accommodate various vehicle applications and offers a number of innovative features. It is set to be used by Stellantis Group's Ram and Jeep brands, with the latter specifically targeting the SUV market.

Electrification Options
The STLA Frame platform will initially be equipped with battery electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, followed by the introduction of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, and hydrogen fuel cell technology. Batteries for these vehicles will have a capacity range of 159-200 kWh.

Battery Electric Vehicle Specifications:
STLA Frame platform-based powertrains will feature a number of advanced components. With 4.4 seconds from 0-97 km/h acceleration, the vehicles are powered with single-stage electric motors totaling between 250 kW, while adopting four-wheel drive capabilities.
