Ideal MEGA Ultra Smart Drive (Flamson) Officially Launched in China on March 21st

On March 21st, IDEAL MEGA unveiled its new version of the Flamson smart drive, opening pre-orders and announcing its reservation policy. The reserve price is 52.98万元, with pre-orders starting at 5,000 yuan to secure a spot. A series of upgrades are expected for this new model.

Among the changes include an updated dashboard that has added a new air-intake system, as well as replaced the existing high-beam LED car lights and high-end electronic brain processing unit (also known as smart chip).

Accordingly, Flamson is anticipated to officially debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2025 and launch deliveries in May. Reservations for Flamson have begun.

As part of this reservation strategy, customers who pre-order will be eligible to receive an additional benefit of up to 5000 yuan worth of extras, including a free charging package (equal to one year's electric fuel). Ideal Mega’s reserve period starts on March 21st and will close when reserves are exhausted, or until the latest delivery date before May. Reserving customers will have access to unique features from early April.

Flamson is now set for production in 2025. According to previously reported data, the new model may change only marginally in terms of overall design. The air-intake system, LED headlights are now more compact and smaller than previous versions, which were quite bulky.

In contrast, the updated brain processing unit has made its way from a quad-engine chip, known for high levels of calculation power to an upgraded single-engine chip called “Thor” with better processing capabilities.
