Geely Foxes Over 2 Million Units Sold in China as the Most Popular Model of 2024

The sales figures for 2024 have been revealed, and the Geely Foxes model has topped the charts with more than 489,000 units sold.

The fourth-generation Geely Foxes car, which was officially unveiled on February 21st, launched with four variants, priced between 23.98-32.98 yuan (approximately $3,500-$4,700 USD). The exterior design of this new model is largely the same as its predecessor.

However, inside, a significant update has taken place in the realm of technology and comfort. Inside, drivers can still expect the traditional Foxes interior with 15-inch 2.5K high-definition screen, as well as 12.3-inch driver's display screens and 12.3-inch infotainment screens for the rear seats.

Noteworthy design changes are seen in some bespoke elements. To differentiate it from ordinary variants, each comes equipped with exclusive designs for roof-mounted antennas to give owners a distinctive appearance in their urban dwellines. They also showcase how to upgrade with advanced equipment on and among the roof panels: an added windscreen with 21 small squares that can be used for cooling.

On the power side of things we have the 1.5T dual-electric motor system that equates 505 kW and comes equipped by a hybridized E-CVT box - providing fast start times. The engine, however, stays much lower, at 135kW.

While there are other SUV models released around this time like the Teng势 as well as some high-end luxury ones like M7 & L6 from other brands in the Geely family of cars... The new variants and especially their version with the advanced Huawei Qiankun system come across as strong newcomers into the luxury segment.

This should be an interesting development for those concerned about electric cars.
