Among the new features introduced are advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including Intelligent Driving Navigation (HNOA), Lane Management System (ICC), and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB). Other additions include Safety Features such as Door Open Reminder, Intelligent Speed Adjustment, Blind Spot Detection, and Parking Assistance. Other updates enhance the driver's journey with automatic adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning systems, smart seats ventilation, and more.
The BYD Ats Summer hit the market on January 8, offering four distinct trim levels in a competitive price range of ¥24.98 to ¥30.98 million and reached sales milestones early on, achieving over 10,000 units sold in its first month.
Compared to its rivals like Tencent Motors D9, ByD made notable improvements in design with shorter lengths, wider widths, and reduced heights while retaining the same overall dimensions of the vehicle at just 3045mm without sacrificing comfort. Furthermore, the larger rear doors enabled passengers ease of entry and exit compared to previous designs.
Technological advancement is further enhanced by BYD utilizing fifth-generation DM technology and hybridization which offers different power combinations depending on usage type, including a standard option of 115 kW electrical motor for lower consumption rates and better fuel efficiency or a boosted version producing maximum 200kW output for improved acceleration performance.
