Is Sharing Power Real: The Rise of Co-Ops in China's Dual-Format Retail Shift

Changan's LuxURY Brand, Ronwei Fly Fortune, to Rapidly Expand its Dual-Authorization Sales Network

As of October this year, Changan's luxury brand, Ronwei Fly Fortune, has confirmed that it is rapidly integrating its dual-authorization sales network. With over 72 companies having opened their doors so far, the brand is set to complete its goal of reaching 100 dealerships by year-end.

The dual-authorization model allows for an increase in the number of service centers, thereby expanding the dealership's networking scope and improving cost control and operational efficiency. Additionally, it will accelerate the development of Ronwei Fly Fortune's product lineup.

In reality, Changan has had a prior affiliation with Ronwei Fly Fortune since its inception. In 2020, Ronwei founded the "R-brand" to cater to high-end new energy vehicles, using the lion logo ("R") alongside the brand name. By 2021, the R-brand was spun off as an independent entity, branded also as Changan.
