BMW's 701KM Range Tied at the Wheel: Introducing Three New Model Cars for Spring Season Launch

BMW Unveils Updated iX Models with Enhanced Performance and Design

Munich, Germany - BMW has officially released the updated iX lineup, featuring enhanced performance and a refreshed exterior design. The new models, including the iX xDrive45, iX xDrive60, and iX M70 xDrive, offer improved features in both aesthetics and capabilities.

The exterior design language of the new iX models is characterized by clean lines, and a more modern feel. Notably, BMW has introduced a new LED lighting system, which includes adaptive headlamps and ring-shaped fog light arrays. These elements work together to create a smoother visual impact on the front face of the vehicle.

One notable aspect of the updated design is the introduction of BMW's M Performance suite, which was previously only available as a styling option. The new M Performance model features an even more aggressive design, including distinctive grille and rear diffuser elements that set it apart from its standard-series counterparts. Special attention has also been paid to the front bumper, tail lights, and side skirts, making for an overall cohesive look.

In terms of color options, seven new shades will be offered: extreme blue, sand-beach gray, carbon black, danube stone blue, silver space silver, matte dark gray, and customized grinding steel gr gray. Each M Performance car now has its own bespoke aesthetic, thanks to the special design elements included in the M suite – as evidenced by the characteristic grille, rear diffuser-style spoiler at the tail pipes, and aluminum trim mesh for reduced drag.

BMW iX M70 xDrive: Performance Enhanced

The performance capabilities of each model have been tweaked, providing a welcome expansion of power output:

  • The BMW iX M70 with four-motor electric propulsion offers a 485kW/659hp peak output.
  • Its WLTP testing range achieves an incredible 521 - 600 km.

Additional features from the updated BMW lineup include bespoke M Performance colors and interior design options inspired by the entire BMW M family.

The new BMW iX models are set to arrive in global markets this spring, with the majority of production taking place at BMW's Ingolstadt assembly facility.
