Audi E Tron Shocks Guangzhou Auto Show: Audi's New Challenger Arrives for 2024 Launch

Audi's Debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show: A Sneak Peek at the AUDI E

The 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show marked a significant milestone for Audi as the brand unveiled its latest creation, AUDI E, an almost production-ready concept car. The car is set to launch in the market in 2025 and promises to make a statement.

One of the notable features of the AUDI E was the absence of Audi's iconic four rings logo on the front and rear of the vehicle. This decision was made to give way to a more aggressive LED light cluster that provides high visibility, while maintaining an aggressive design profile.

The car is dressed in a distinctive black coat with dual-tone color scheme, complete with hidden door handles and substantial aluminum wheels for added sophistication.

On the rear end of the vehicle, aggressive lines dominate, giving off an unmistakable sense of dynamism. The taillights are identical to those found on the front, complementing the overall aesthetic. One cannot help but wonder if this design will be retained in its forthcoming production variant.

Upon entering the AUDI E, one is greeted with a stark departure from the traditional Audi interior layout that fans have come to expect. In contrast, the new concept boasts Chinese modern sensibilities in line with brands like those in the "new generation." This translates into an expanded central console screen.

The cabin also features an innovative streamer-like rearview camera and ambient lighting units designed to avoid glare for a more immersive experience.

Power-wise, the vehicle comes equipped with 100-degree three-way lithium ion battery pack construction and boasts impressive range figures of around 700 kilometers on a single charge.

Under the hood lies a combined double-motor setup known as 'quattro,' offering a remarkable acceleration time of just 3.6 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph, accompanied by smooth acceleration throughout its 4-wheel drive configurations.

The vehicle's cutting-edge technology can be rounded out with all-wheel drive mechanisms - including progressive front turn-by-turn switching and advanced air suspension systems.
