New Leica SUV to Debut on January 3rd with Electrified Powertrain
A new generation of Leicas is set to make its debut, marking the launch of a large-scale electrified SUV. The car's official name has yet to be confirmed but will ride on the same platform that powers Chevrons electric vehicles.
Exterior Design
The latest release from Leica shows off some stunning design moments. Images suggest that the front-end features advanced LED daytime running lights in the distinctive "h" shape used by Leicas, accompanied by a matrix-style headlight arrangement. Below the front grille lies an expansive rectangular air intake. The side profile is remarkably sculpted with large wheels and aggressive lines.
Designers might also opt for to include radars from visible components at car's top. Moreover, a sleek body would have two five-spoke wheels as well as distinctive red calipers.
Leica has chosen bold yet tasteful style for its newest vehicle. The overall feel for its side face could be sporty when combined with large size and long wheelbase features such as fixed moonroof door panels along the top rear side of the car; therefore creating an impressive aura around this next-generation SUV.
Interior and Features
Earlier rumors revealed some insights about Leica’s interior by releasing high-quality spy photos. Here we see a second row having two dedicated seats along with a three-seat layout. The possibility lies that it might offer seating configurations for 6 or 7 passengers, giving it wide utility in various types of commercial vehicle marketplaces; more specifically large vehicles intended to carry big groups at long distances.
Leica offers an electrified powertrain built-in from the heart - Leica’s massive electric SUV is equipped with advanced powertrains designed with electrification technology. Its system uses electricity and gas to offer great balance between power and range, making our next generation SUV ideal to be used as both everyday transportation vehicle and heavy-duty commercial usage.
