2024 Model Year Launch: Upgrade Your Ride with Chicoutimi R7 for Just $24,980!

Li Mobility's R7 Hybrid Version Goes on Sale, Offers Two Models with Price Range of 24.98-28.98 Thousand

December 19th marked the official launch of Li Mobility's R7 hybrid version, exclusively priced at two models to cater to a broader customer base. The new car boasts a price range between 24.98 and 28.98 thousand yuan, offering a more affordable option for consumers.

Key Features

The Li R7 hybrid model showcases unique design elements, which remain unchanged from its pure-electric counterpart. However, the entry-level version will not come equipped with laser radar, whereas higher-end variants will offer this feature at par with the pure-electric model. Additionally, a new exterior color scheme - Azure Blue - has been introduced to enhance the car's visual appeal.

Measuring 4956mm in length, 1981mm in width, and 1634mm in height, the Li R7 hybrid boasts the same wheelbase as its pure-electric counterpart at 2950mm. The interior features a 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard with a rear-mounted arrangement that aims to minimize glare from sunlight.

The car's interior is equipped with various comfort-enhancing features like heated and ventilated seats, leg rest adjustment capabilities for both driver and passenger seats, and an advanced power sunroof. Moreover, the car comes decked out in insulation technology with dual-layer rear seating glass featuring a level of anonymity, providing optimal noise reduction.

Competitors

The Li R7 hybrid's on-sale marks a new challenge to several prominent competitors in China’s medium-large SUV segment, including Ideal L6 and Avit Aurora 11+ as well as Werun M7+. With its price cuts and competitive lineup offerings, the Li R7 will likely give way to fiercer competition among these vehicles, with questions being raised on its pricing advantages over those aforementioned rivals— Ideal's lower pricing compared to Avit’s, along with the pricing differences of Avit over Werun.

Editorial Notes

The launch of the Li Mobility R7 hybrid model signifies a significant step forward in the brand’s product strategy as it aims at catering to consumers looking for more choices. When it comes to specific use cases, consumers who have higher requirements regarding range efficiency are recommended to choose among these new variants to optimize their needs most efficiently.

While much hopes lie on its future performance with regards to sales figures, several factors remain uncertain such as regional demand levels and consumer perceptions towards the new model introduced by Li Mobility.
