Longan Automobile To Unveil "Bei Dou Tian Zhuan 2.0" Strategy and Deep Blue Intelligent Driving Solution

On February 7, Longan Automobile announced that it will be hosting the "Bei Dou Tian Zhuan 2.0" strategy and deep blue intelligent driving solution release on February 9.

Meanwhile, Deep blue Automobile is expected to unveil its new mid-to-full-size SUV, the Deep Blue S09, at the same event.

According to insiders, Longan Automobile will showcase its latest breakthroughs in smart driving technology as well as advancements in whole stack smartization capabilities. Meanwhile, Deep Blue Automobile is expected to release its comprehensive intelligent driving solution for various scenarios, including highway NOA and urban NOA, smart parking, among others.

It's worth noting that Longan Automobile has announced "Bei Dou Tian Zhuan" prior to the current iteration of this project. As part of this transition, Longan intends to become a new technology company focused on 'smart travel' (i.e., intelligent driving technologies). Furthermore, they have designated their "action plan for Northern Star 4+1", which outlines four primary objectives set to achieve by mid-2025.

In comparison, Deep Blue S09 is speculated to go on sale starting at around RMB 35,000. With anticipated market arrival in the first half of this year, its main competitors are expected to include the Ideal L9 and Wenjie M9 cars.

Upgraded according to available long-term development strategies, these new cars feature upgraded interior design, ensuring they meet their respective design specifications. In terms of cutting-edge technology, it will come equipped with a laser radar module that supports an upgrade with Huawei's Qualcomm AI Drive 3.0 advanced driver assistance system (High-End Assistance System).

According to dimensions provided by the manufacturer, lengths, widths, and heights are estimated at 5205mm, 1996mm, 1800mm respectively. The overall axle distance is 3105mm.

Powering the S09 vehicle will be Longan's Super Plus turbocharge technology paired with Deep Blue's Blue Giant HE1.5T super high-pressure injection turbocharged gasoline engine equipped with maximum horsepower of 110kW. Furthermore, this car comes equipped with a front-wheel drive four-wheel-drive layout that supports its dual electric motor power output, in total reaching up to 362kW.

In the power range, Deep Blue S09 has stated a range of pure electric travel of up to 170miles and an overall travel radius (including recharging) up to 180km
