Electric SUVs Put to the Test in Harsh Arctic Winter
As temperatures plummeted on December 2, a fleet of sleek and powerful electric vehicles took to the frozen roads of northeast China's Hulunbuir city. The test aimed to put these high-tech SUVs to the real-world test, simulating the extreme conditions that would push their capabilities to the limit.
A Test of Endurance
Among the vehicles that took part in this challenging endurance test were four top contenders in the 10-tonne pure-electric SUV segment: the Geely Silverado EV, the Chery eQ, the BYD C10, and the Zengge (Zero-ran) C10. These models boasted impressive range capabilities, but one question loomed large: could they guarantee a reliable drive even in the harshest winter conditions?
Which of these vehicles earned the distinction of being the genuine "thermal tank" SUV? Only time would tell.
High-Heat Charges
The pure-electric vehicles that participated in this testing program included several of the hottest models currently available, including:
- The León 10 from the Geely Group
- The Xiaomi SU7
- the Enjoyer S9 (All Scene Photography)
- Three of these models, including the Mi SU7, the extreme 070, the intelligence L6 and the Enjoyer S9, exceeded 800 km in a single test.
A Live Broadcast Awaits
Stay tuned for December 2's live broadcast, where our engineers reveal which electrified SUV stands up to the challenge. The excitement is building!
