Renault to Unveil D6: A Compact Electric Crossover

Renault has officially released the latest official images of its upcoming electric crossover, the D6. The new car is positioned as a compact electric vehicle with two range options: 450 kilometers and 520 kilometers.

The D6 features a comprehensive suite of standard safety equipment, including full LED headlights, windscreen-mounted cameras and forward collision warning. Renault also offers an optional package that includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and blind spot detection.

Interior Space and Comfort

Inside, the D6 boasts advanced infotainment and connectivity features, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration and voice control. To support the use of mobile devices during extended journeys, two USB-C ports and wireless phone charging have also been added to the system.

With seat passengers in comfort on mind, Renault has taken significant cues from other models to create some impressive interior features for an entry-level car. The D6 will be equipped with a unique "mille-graux" mesh-arrangement for seats that are both stylish and highly beneficial according to various studies performed.

Renault aims for 2024 release in the D6, while also incorporating advanced infotainment facilities to facilitate user interactions during the use to be able to assist you throughout the journey.

Performance

Powering this crossover comes a Renault e-tech single electric motor producing an impressive 95kW of instantaneous maximum torque from this powerful unit.

With that incredible amount of torque at its disposal, and thanks to efficient regenerative braking systems, it is possible for the D6 to enjoy high performance while maintaining efficiency and minimizing environmental impact
