Luxury Brand Reveal: Extreme-R's 009 Sparkles at Shanghai Auto Show

In a highly anticipated move, Chinese automaker Extreme-R has confirmed that its latest 009 Sparkles model will make its global debut at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show.

Priced at CNY 7,890 (approximately USD 1,200), the 009 Sparkles flaunts an aggressive, high-end exterior design. To accentuate its sleek silhouette, the vehicle is equipped with gold accents along its body, making it stand out from other models.

Standing out visually, the car boasts a black paint finish paired with golden trim elements on major areas of its exterior such as roof rails, door handles, wheel arches, shoulder strips, side mirrors, door handles and front/rear bumper edges, badge, rear view mirror posts. The dimensions for length, width and reach are 5,217mm x 2,024mm x 1,812mm and a wheelbase of 3,205mm.

Inside the vehicle, references to its more established model make appearance; adopting a four-passenger layout with space given over back seats to seat two large plush recline luxury chair. These also come equiped with large 43 inches entertainment touchscreen system, which are embedded ZEEKR OS OS6 system. Furthermore it is equipped with satellite navigation and audio, double side radio messages and voice transmission.

Engine-wise the latest creation will be powered by an Extreme-R built 800V platform. Featuring dual electric motors with all-wheel drive systems totaling 789 horsepower and a maximal torque output of 810Nm coupled with 3.3kW external recharging capabilities from the matching three-metal 63Ah battery pack to support three times greater charge capacity for the new vehicle; achieving at least 702km of pure motor electricity.

Arrival timing for the Sparkles will be announced around time to arrive Shanghai auto show opening, marking a compelling addition in luxury electric drive lines
