Longan Unveils DeepBlue S09 Smart SUV
BEIJING, FEBRUARY 9 - Longan Automobile unveiled the DeepBlue S09 smart SUV at its strategic release event today. This is the first time for the new vehicle to be officially showcased in the public.
The DeepBlue S09 is a mid-to-large size luxurious SUV with an advanced e-power plug-in hybrid system. With a starting price of 35,000 yuan (approximately $5,100 USD), it aims to compete with other prominent brands' models featuring "9" logos such as Ideal L9 and QuanJi M9.
Internally, the DeepBlue S09 seats six people and is equipped with a 2+2+2 layout. Externally, it boasts an all-new "Synthetic Kinetics Aesthetic Design," accompanied by enveloping deep blue circular headlights that make a strong visual impact on this SUV's overall appearance.
Size-wise, measurements show the vehicle to be 5205 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and 1800 mm in height, with an axle span of 3105 mm. It adheres to common mid-and-large SUV standards.

- Advanced e-Power System: The DeepBlue S09 incorporates Longan's supercharged 2.0 liter hybrid assistance technology. Furthermore, the vehicle runs on dual-electric four-wheel-drive with an added advanced increase system, yielding a total output of up to 362kW.
- 40.18 kW Battery: It is equipped with a battery pack measuring about 40.18 kW; for instance it offers both of different possible ranges that are around 180kgm and 170km for the e-variant respectively.
In addition, The vehicle has an advanced dynamic system, such as front independent multiple leaf-type multi-stage suspension plus rear multi-stage long-spaced independent multi-staging suspension.
