China’s Electric Compact Sedan Spy Shots Emerge; Potential NIO Model?
A series of spy shots of a new electric compact sedan have surfaced, showcasing its interior trim levels. The vehicle, scheduled to join the market in 2024 and marketed exclusively through Ctrip's ocean platform.
The new pictures reveal that the car is equipped with a single-color display screen on the central console, a stark contrast to more traditional setups commonly found in modern vehicles. Other components, including steering wheels adorned with multi-functional buttons, door panels designed to be cradled, dashboards featuring LCD gauges, and handrests, are shared by both trim levels.
The rear seats appear to offer substantial cargo space for passengers, as the central console extends beyond them. Observers can also notice a significant amount of ventilation available in this cabin due to air conditioning vents attached directly behind back seat cushions.
Design Overview
Exterior design is characterized by sleek and modern lines in front. While large fixtures resemble those used on NIO ES05 models, rear lights show noticeable aerodynamic features and point-out interfaces strategically located along both sides of the body.
The shape maintains understated elegance as if dressed in black clothes with only subtle details to add flavor throughout car body design. Each measurement – which include overall length 4780mm at 1900mm wide and 1,515 high – follows common sizes for that type of automotive.
