Mercedes-AMG Refreshes Lineup With New Models and Variants
Mercedes-AMG has introduced several new models and variants to their lineup, offering improved performance and features. Among the latest additions are the refurbished CLE 35 4MATIC, A 35 L 4MATIC and A variant, and S63 L E PERFORMANCE.
The CLE 35 4MATIC is available for purchase at a price of $45,470, while the A 35 L 4MATIC starts at $40,510. In comparison to its predecessor, the first-edition special model boasts a price increase, but no price changes for the regular version.
AMG's latest lineup offers several visual enhancements, including distinctive black skirts and rear diffusers with an exposed grille design. The car features an angular look that incorporates the LED lights of Mercedes-AMG. Other improvements include metallic paint in nine different colors: Polar White, Night Black, Cosmic Black, Granite Grey, Galactic Navy Blue, Space Silver Gray, and Anthracite Dark Grey/Black.
A new trim level has also been introduced with improved dynamic performance: AMG High Performance Acceleration Package enables the car to reach 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in record-breaking time of 4.9 seconds, which is an improvement over its predecessor's 5.5 seconds.
Inside, the CLE 35 4MATIC boasts a classic look, with a high-quality leather finish and the AMG steering wheel control module. The interior equipment consists of advanced features such as climate management, cruise control, and adaptive LED headlights.
The new E-Performance model combines Mercedes-AMG's four-cylinder inline engine technology with an integrated 48-volt on-board electrical system that improves performance by introducing a boost in torque during acceleration phases. It boasts exceptional power-to-weight ratio for improved fuel efficiency, resulting from 48-volt integration and innovative drivetrain technologies.
The new A Class AMG line features family-style design elements in addition to AMG’s signature Night Vision Package. This variant boasts the same set of styling cues shared with its counterpart but comes with a sleeker AMG 4D DRL lighting component, along with additional trim pieces that give it an aggressive appearance, including dynamic wheel locks for more precise handling.
A new upgrade in performance features was also applied to the line, which now equips 48-volt battery technology together with Mercedes’ most highly advanced four-wheel drive system. It increases traction on snow or dry surface and at high cornering speeds by generating additional torque from 1000 rpm.
While retaining its core family dynamics concept that emphasizes spaciousness within AMG branding, a refreshed mid-cycle facelift has resulted in further upgrades on both style and technology across all trim levels.
