Baojun Upgrade OTA: Enhanced Driver Assistance and Improved User Experience
Beijing, February 20 — Chinese automaker Baojun has announced the launch of spring OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrade for its 2024 model year lineup. The update brings a plethora of new features and improved performance to the company's flagship vehicle, the Cloud Sea.
With over 41 enhanced intelligent driving network (IDN) functionalities included in the update, drivers can expect significant improvements in safety and convenience. At the heart of these upgrades is the upgraded Linsight driver assistance system, which boasts advanced algorithms for detecting and responding to complex scenarios on the road.
A major aspect of this upgrade was the introduction of Linsight 2.0 Max, which significantly enhances the system's ability to predict driving situations in challenging conditions. Drivers will also experience improved lane-keeping assist and parking capabilities, complete with voice recognition support for multiple dialects.
One notable feature of this update is the integration of FV-Lane and BEV-Lane technology, allowing Linsight 2.0 Max to detect vehicles lanes more accurately than ever before. Additionally, the update brings various enhancements in terms of lane change and construction zone detection capabilities, resulting in improved response times in high-traffic scenarios.
Another notable aspect of this upgrade is the enhancement of interactive features for users with mobility needs. This includes simplified voice interaction capabilities, allowing passengers to communicate with the vehicle using different dialects. Furthermore, Linsight 2.0 Max can recognize standard Mandarin as well as eight non-standard regional dialects across over 70% of Nationwide China.
The update also brings some significant changes in terms of performance and user experience, including enhanced construction zone detection systems, better warning capabilities during rush-hour conditions, and new automatic shutdown features for screens to avoid accidental presses due to wear.
