Mercedes-Benz Unveils New CLA Shooting Brake: A Pragmatic and Stylish Addition to the Lineup
Mercedes-Benz, the renowned German automotive manufacturer, has unveiled its newest addition to the CLA family - the CLA Shooting Brake. Unlike its longer wheelbase counterpart, the Shooting Brake offers a more practical and distinctive appearance that appeals to young car enthusiasts.
The new Shooting Brake is built on the latest MMA chassis architecture, which features an 800V electric powertrain blueprint, an all-new electric motor unit, and a cutting-edge MB.OS operation system. This innovative design enables improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and enhanced performance.
Design-wise, the CLA Shooting Brake boasts a distinctively sculpted front end with a sleek, matrix-patterned headlamp arrangement that also reveals its signature Mercedes-Benz logo on the grille. The side profile is characterized by expansive intakes that convey a sense of dynamism, while the tail section preserves the signature double sloping roofline and maintains continuity with the parent model's aesthetic.
Internally, visitors can expect a harmoniously refined interior design inspired by its full-size counterpart. The cockpit features a trio of screens - a top 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a secondary 14.6-inch touchscreen, and an optional side passenger display measuring 14 inches (depending on configuration) which all seamlessly integrate to form a cohesive MB.OS operation system optimized for user experience. Furthermore, select trims come with two advanced LED technologies capable of supporting the integration of AI voice assistants integrated 5g networks as well.
Powering this stylish coupe comes a versatile MMA engine lineup expected to cover three variants in regular output - an electric powertrain offering maximum output between 300 and 349 kW across different trim. Notably, select versions can also expect added convenience with optional LED head-up display systems designed by renowned engineers at Burmester Audio.
