Alfa Romeo’s Electric Variants to Hit the Market on April 2
Alfa Romeo’s electric variants, the Alpha S6 and Alpha T6, are expected to go on sale on April 2. The new models take inspiration from the original Alpha S and Alpha T cars, with updated configurations focusing on smart technologies.
The Alpha S6, which retained the design elements of its predecessor, is characterized by a middle-less design approach, minimalist style, and a distinctive "quacking tail" at the rear. Inside, the cabin features long trim screens, larger control panels, and retained rotary controls. The car boasts CLTC range of 735km on electric power, with a maximum motor output of 160kW.
The Alpha T6 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor’s design, featuring drop-style front headlights, two air intakes on either side, a trailing tail lamp that echoes the front grille's intake ducts. The interior showcases a three-screen layout, including a narrow control panel and a square air conditioning display. The new variant also boasts CLTC range of 688km, with the same maximum motor output of 160kW.
It is worth noting that when these new variants hit the market they may still incorporate changes in pricing as well as preferential policies – it’s yet to be seen how Alfa will adjust accordingly after introducing such electric models.
