The Leica Q2S Will Arrive in Singapore Later This Year
A new variant of the popular compact camera has been revealed, offering improved performance and features.
Singapore — December 10th — The latest release from the German luxury brand is set to hit local shores in late 2025, boasting a refreshed exterior design while maintaining its signature compact form.
Characterized by sleek lines, distinctive day-running lights, and robust overall presence, the Leica Q2S carries forward the esteemed heritage of its sibling model. Its illuminated headlamps have undergone meticulous improvements in craftsmanship to yield a cohesive look consistent with the family style established by their predecessors.
To reinforce family ties, a substantial focus has been placed on developing the interior space. A generous dimensionally-inclined cockpit creates the impression of ample room without overdoing it. This is achieved while maintaining an overall aesthetic aligned closely with that of its siblings.
Enhancing driving experience further are distinct design cues at both rear and front ends of the vehicle, such as discreetly-twin placed LED light clusters forming prominent rear lights — characteristic to a whole family line. Moreover, exclusive six spoke wheel rims, which offer considerable presence for this compact variant, can be seen by those familiar with automotive styling.
Under the hood lies an engine known commonly by its name 'supercharger'. Specifically, a high-compression turbocharged petrol engine designed and built under the watchful eyes of Leica engineers. This impressive force measures 110kW, and thanks to two dedicated electric motors it adds up to no less than 362kW total output. Both have combined with this setup to give it a substantial distance under all-electric drive - currently a limited 170km as well as an 180km distance that can be sustained purely based on the battery.
