Charging Infrastructure Expanded: Huawei's Charging Network Continues to Grow

The company has recently launched its 2,600th charging station in Yixing's Lishui Yangtze River Park, marking another milestone on its expansion plan.

As of October 28, the Huawei-owned charging network has deployed a total of 2,601 charging stations across the country. This includes 868 highways charging stations, 4,067 regular charging stations, and 239,011 electric vehicle (EV) charging points for cars, as well as over 1 million three-phase connectors.

The Huawei charging network has facilitated over 56 million swaps, with an average of 78,000 transactions per day. This translates to one swap every 1.1 seconds. The high-frequency deployment is expected to further improve its service capabilities.

Currently, the nationwide highway charging network spans across seven vertical axes and horizontal axes in over 30 cities, serving millions of users daily.

Huawei aims to complete a nine-axis grid by 2025, offering passengers a seamless travel experience. With the launch of nine vertical and seven horizontal axes in major cities on their roadmap until 2025:

With over 80% market coverage in China, Huawei's charging infrastructure allows for more than 80% household residents to find a charging station within a three-kilometer range.
