Honda e Named as Official Name of New Electric SUV

A series of spy shots for the Dongfeng Qianmi 06 has been obtained through channels, in conjunction with earlier reports, indicating the model is a small-scale pure electric SUV based on the Dongfeng Qt platform number three. The new model is expected to debut in the second quarter.

Spy Shots Unveil Design and Features of Dongfeng Qianmi 06

The spy shots reveal that the interior design continues along the lines of the previous generation Nami. A large floating central dashboard screen dominates the center of the car's cabin, surrounded by dual-suspension steering wheels, a small LCD speedometer, and ergonomic side pillars.

Central console islands use a multi-layered structure to provide enhanced storage space within the cabin. Notably, the rear seats are also expected to have considerable seating capacity according to the new spy shots.

Design-wise, Dongfeng Qianmi 06 employs D-type seven-lens headlights in combination with daytime driving lights. Overall length, width and height measure at 4306/1868/1645mm. The rear axle is calculated as 2715mm. Side views have been equipped with float-style headlights. Door handles are hidden outside and pulled downwards.

Rear packages also employ seven type of lamp structures. Interiorly-wise is the style similar to before generation.

In terms of powertrain, Dongfeng Qianmi 06 will use Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries as propulsion units utilizing single motors, with peak power output reaching 135kW. The car's viewing angle for near driving stands at around 23 degrees and a separation distance is as close to 30 degrees.
