BMW Unveils Teaser Images of All-New Electrified M3
BMW has released teaser images of the all-new, pure-electric M3, which is set to be produced on the latest Neue Klasse platform and codenamed ZA0. Notably, the new M3 will offer both petrol and electric variants.
The electric variant is expected to be unveiled around 2027 for launch in 2028, however its potential name for being called iM3 is unlikely
These images give us an exclusive first look at what looks like a design inspired by BMW's Vision Neue Klasse concept. The front radiator unit appears flatter and seems combined to Big headlights which is similar with M5 version.
The side profile reveals that the new car boasts pop open doors, whilst a slightly shorter suspension setup can also be seen plus large diameter brakes, as well. Noticingly the rear view mirror still does follow conventional design. The rear looks fairly thick and has what are suspected to be tiny drag boards
In terms of powertronics and performance, BMW previously confirmed that M versions will use four-electric motors although this may not achieve an incredible 1341 horsepower despite reports suggesting otherwise as its predicted over present model M3 CS (which possesses a massive 543 HP).
The petrol-powered variant is believed to feature the same 3.0T engines coupled with 48V electric motors, potentially marking what could be BMW's last pure-fuel driven M3 in history.
We will keep following developments of the full new M3 launch date and updates as more news comes out
