iCAR V23正式入市,紧凑型纯电动SUV预售现開
In a bid to shake up the compact SUV market, iCAR has unveiled its latest model at this year's Guangzhou Auto Expo. The iCAR V23 is available for pre-sale now, with prices ranging from 11-15 thousand yuan.
The iCAR V23 boasts a unique design that combines classic and modern elements. Its rounded headlights give it a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of classic off-road vehicles. However, subtle LED accents throughout the car bring it firmly into the modern age. The new vehicle features a round headlight cluster, sealed front bumper with a high positioning for better approach angle, giving a more comprehensive view of the surroundings.
Design-wise, the side profile is rugged and bold, thanks to its shorter front and rear suspension setup, enabling greater approach angles and off-road capabilities. Measured in dimensions 4220 x 1915 x 1845mm and with an axle-to-body distance of 2730 mm, it possesses a relatively spacious interior with large wheels – 19 inches for the FWD version and 21 inches for the four-wheel-drive variant.
The vehicle's rear has a distinctive design due to its offset trunk lid. The location where the license plate holder is placed has been thoughtfully left out on purpose, creating space to enhance overall character. A crucial aspect of the original idea behind this part of the car design was not just aesthetics but functionality – by linking it together seamlessly with the inside, users might use it as a storage space rather than accessing it through the keyring.
With regards to interior elements, iCAR has opted for a clean aesthetic – incorporating lighter tonalities alongside black and making use of horizontal lines throughout. Key components include a large infotainment screen displaying navigation details while also showcasing all manner of safety data; the dashboard boasts flat display systems, with features running via Unreal Engine 3D HMI design - an exclusive feature on this vehicle.
As for powertrain options, iCAR V23 presents single electric rear-wheel drive and twin motor four-wheel drive layouts. Single electric maximum capacity stands at 100 kilowatts, while dual electric reaches a stunning 155 kilowatts, with front electric capacity set at 55 kilowatts and the rear electric setting at 100 watts - spanning range capacities of both 401km (single-electric) and 501km (dual-motor variant).
