Geely Binyue E8 PRO+ Interior Design Teased, Details and Specifications Revealed
The Geely Binyue E8 PRO+, a new variant of the E8 model, has been unveiled in China. Ahead of its launch on February 14th, the interior design of the car was showcased alongside its specifications and pricing details.
From an exterior perspective, the Binyue E8 PRO+ maintains similarities with existing models, featuring a divided front headlight system accompanying horizontal LED daytime running lights, which are also shared with the E8 MAX+. The side nets will have a sleek no-frill design.
Internally, the center console boasts a 3D layered UI design. The instrument cluster is an advanced full-screen touch display measuring 88.8 inches across and perfectly integrated into the middle of the dashboard. It complements three-gallon multi-functional adjustable steering wheel. Additionally, there's a multifunctional 14.6-inch touch screen mounted on the center console that boasts built-in 8155 silicon chip technology supporting hands-free interface voice command functions.
The gear levers inside have been digitally converted, with an electronic switching mechanism to switch between drive modes, along with USB charging facilities and cupholders embedded around these areas of space. In terms of performance, the Geely E8 PRO+ utilizes the same combination as earlier models, incorporating a 2.0L fuel engine integrated with electric motors in parallel power drive layout.
The electric motor is powered by a liquid-cooled lithium battery pack, yielding 25.57kWh of capacity measured at the Combined Location Test Cycle point in kilometers traveled on pure electricity alone. It has a total range (including both electric and gasoline modes) of approximately one thousand two hundred kilometres under CLTC standard conditions.
