Geely's New SUV, Geely T5, Revealed Through Leaked Images
The Geely T5, a new SUV from the Chinese automaker Geely, has been unveiled to the public through leaked images, causing speculation about its design and specifications.
While we do not have much information about the car yet, from the spy photos it can be seen that the T5 is not too small in size. It even rivals the Great Wall's 2016 model, also known as the "box-like" SUV. The new car is expected to debut in 2025.
Important note: If you have any other spy shots/leaked information on new cars, please feel free to send us your message (only for App users).
The leaked spy photos indicate that Geely has taken a hard stance with the T5's design, featuring angular lines and a prominent grille. The interior is also expected to offer ample space for passengers.
One notable feature about this upcoming SUV is its adoption of a non-carrying body type, unlike previous Geely models such as the "box-like" SUV. As a result, it will have three locking points which are thought to lead to a better off-road performance.
Regarding powertrain options, Geely T5 offers both gasoline and electricity-powered engines exclusively for Geely's e- GT4 vehicle line-up, with an output ranging from 300kW+395N.m on all-wheel-drive layouts and up to 560 kW + 795 N.m . In terms of range the company claims a new battery capable of giving over 1400 km combined driving.
