Ion Turbocharged: Next-Gen iCross V23 Unveiled in December with 100k Pre-Orders

iCAR V23 to Launch in December, Priced Between 11-15,000 Yuan.

The official release date for the iCAR V23 has been confirmed as a mid-December debut, following an earlier teaser of availability and pricing. According to the latest updates from the manufacturer, pre-orders are now open with a price range set between 11,000 to 15,000 yuan.

The iCAR V23 slots into the compact SUV segment, offering both battery-electric and conventional gasoline-powered models. Fuel efficiency for electrical variants ranges at 401km under CLTC testing protocols, while gasoline models achieve up to 501km of range.

This particular vehicle comes in the form of a boxy "SUV" with features drawing cues from its predecessors like Mini Cooper, and on the rear end it looks eerily similar to MINI's take on the legendary class. By dimensions—4220/1915/1845mm in length, width, and height respectively; while its axis distance reaches at 2735mm; interior angles of 42° angle-of-view and approaching angle are set as approximately 43 degrees each; off-set as precisely at 40/41-degree each; the smallest of these is a minuscule gap of 206/212mm in two-wheel drive and fourWheel Drive variants—and respective wheel sizes offered at 19inches when single-wheel driven (and) on its other side, come with the bigger wheels measuring out at 21inchs.

Given the rugged aesthetic which pervades from within as found in iCArs current portfolio to what comes next; the interior features a boxy layout, though with certain curves—think along those same lines as that of MINI—. Interior essentials will notably include a larger-than-before for size, 15 point fourinches 2 dot five K resolution display screen at central positioning.

Here is how that translates to actual working specifications. On the inside, there are physical buttons below this huge LCD monochrome face screen with the rear-mounted units sitting as before, each one set at approximately 180 degrees apart from one another; and for front side seating, in addition to heating functionality, these seats come loaded up with their own standard electric drive.

On the powerfront—these models can be divided into two categories, iCArs singular powered car model (single electrical), dual drive configuration: each offers differing amounts of torque or horsepower on a case-to-case basis. Single driven vehicle outputs are 180Kw on the one hand while on the others side its twin-cylinder counterpart produces 292 Kwh and a total combined output stands at one-five-fifteen-kwh.
