BMW To Unveil New Generation of X Series Models in 2025

BMW is set to unveil the next-generation X series models, based on its all-new NCAR architecture, in 2025. The first models that will be unveiled are a mid-size sedan and a mid-size SUV.

The mid-size SUV, which has been confirmed as the second generation X3, is expected to start production at BMW's Hungarian plant Debrecen in July of this year, with further production allocated to other plants later on. Additionally, the brand will also debut its M Performance version of the new I3 sedan - the i3M60.

Design-wise, the next-generation X3 is expected to share a similar design language asVision Neue Klasse X, boasting a distinctive set of double-lens headlights paired with horizontal taillights that form a striking visual effect. The front fascia has also been given an aggressive look with new LED light sources added.

The interior design includes modern touchscreens, such as electronic rearview mirrors, which add a premium feel to the cabin. Exterior and interior lighting design are typical of BMW models with L- Type headlights giving a clean and sleek aesthetic. Furthermore, it is expected that these cars embody BMW’s hallmark engineering principles underpinning performance, functionality, durability over time.

Efficiency-wise, it can be anticipated that the total effectiveness of new generation of bmw x series car will boost by 25% or above. This will be due to adoption new “Rectangular” Shaped battery in its body providing higher energy density as compared with conventional round shaped battery used previously.
