EV Pre-Sales to Begin on January 17th
A spokesperson from Topoi, the official outlet of Weilin Motor Group's Wuzhishan Plant, has confirmed that their upcoming electric vehicle, the Hengda Jinhua (also known as the "Five Star", or "Light of Five Stars" in Chinese), will begin its pre-sale on January 17th. The car boasts a sleek design dubbed as 'K-Car,' featuring a 30-kilowatt back-mounted electric engine.
The exterior features a boxier, more modern look inspired by the 'K-Car' styling concept, deviating from traditional Microcar designs. Its side profile retains classic sliding door design with an opening width of 595mm. The car measures 3685mm in length, 1530mm in width, and 1765mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600mm.
Inside, the interior boasts minimalist style. It is paired with black color scheme, featuring liquid crystal analog-style instrument cluster alongside simple radio functions for entertainment. The rear seat also features removable backrest configuration giving initial storage space up to 527L, which expands to 1117L once all seats are downed.
There will be several mounting points available on the dashboard, allowing users to attach a folding desktop board, storage shelves or even an adjustable shelf system. This expansion feature adds more functional space accessible when needed.
On the dynamic front, this car is fitted with a maximum power of 30 kilowatts from its backmounted motor, equipped with iron phosphate batteries and also capable of being charged through exterior outputs to increase total performance capabilities further by allowing slow charging for the vehicle's main battery, coupled with faster charge times via external charging facilities.
Note: The date January 17th was only included to indicate when pre-sales begin
