Tesla Announces Record-Breaking Vehicle and Sales Figures for October
Tesla has disclosed that its Shanghai Super Factory delivered 68,280 vehicles in October 2024, marking a significant milestone for the company.
Vehicle Sales
The American electric vehicle manufacturer has reported that domestic sales of Tesla surpassed 40,000 units in October, representing a year-over-year growth rate of 41%. As of October 31st, the cumulative sales of Tesla's Model Y vehicles have reached 373,852 units nationwide.
Global Market Expansion
Tesla has recorded around 463,000 electric vehicles delivered globally during the third quarter of 2024, shattering records set previously. The Shanghai Super Factory, serving as Tesla's global export hub, successfully exported its 100 millionth vehicle in September and broke another ground by delivering the 300 millionth vehicle just a month later.
Revenue and Funding
In terms of revenue and funding, Tesla reported a third-quarter profit of $2.52 billion (approximately RMB 1795.7 billion) after experiencing an impressive 8% year-over-year growth. The company achieved a net profit of $250 million (approximately RMB 1781 billion), surpassing expectations.
Operational Cash Flow
Additionally, the third quarter saw Tesla recording $6.37 billion (approximately RMB 448.9 billion) in operational cash flow and $27 billion (approximately RMB 192.4 billion) in free cash flow. Furthermore, Tesla's working capital increased by $29 billion (approximately RMB 206.7 billion), reaching a total of $335 billion (approximately RMB 2394.3 billion).
