GAC Guangxi River E5 Announces First Large-Scale OTA Update

GUANGXI PROVINCE, CHINA - The GAC Guangxi River E5 has begun its first large-scale Over-The-Air (OTA) update to its latest model. This major software push brings forth a plethora of innovative features and improvements.

In line with the car's capabilities, this massive OTA upgrade includes key additions such as:

Introducing the New GAC Cloud Eco-System Platform

- Unique cloud-based platform providing infinite expandability
- Integration with GAC FlieMe Auto system, elevating vehicle convenience and usability.
- All new platform applications can be downloaded and run from the cloud

• Seamless synchronization across devices.

• Moreover, a key collaboration for the cloud-based platform emerged with Tencent's App Paradise, ensuring that users have access to an extensive 300+ main applications throughout this year.

Enhanced User Experience and Improved Technology

• Additional features including:
  • Enhanced virtual joysticks on mobile phones
  • Application compatibility across desktop and smartphone devices
  • Automatic song creation based on the landscape music for home desk environments
  • Smart remote parking capabilities (with specific locations like perpendicular lines and vertical lines with no parking restrictions)
  • In-car photo functions
  • Companion seating integration with seats
  • Displaying and analyzing 50/100Km Average energy consumption via GAC Silver River app
  • USB audio import function

Smart Safety Features:

• Introduced smart sentinel mode (limited to the physical soft switch "哨兵模式" for both car machines and mobile phones)
