Faraday Future to Send Two FX 6 Prototypes to California Headquarters for Development Testing

Faraday Future recently announced that it will be transporting two FX 6 prototypes from its China headquarters to its US base in Hanford, California, marking the beginning of production development and testing for the sixth model in the FF series.

The company plans to manufacture the assembled cars at its factory located in California. Further updates on the progress of the FX 6 series are expected to be announced by Faraday Future on March 3rd, along with more strategic updates for other FX models.

Prototype Pictures

Early photos of the FX 6 prototype reveal that it features a sleek SUV design with an upright stance and prominent rear spoiler. The overall aesthetic suggests that the car may follow a similar design language to its predecessor, the FF 91.

According to insiders, the first batch of FX 6 prototypes destined for California will undergo rigorous testing on autonomous driving assistance systems (ADAS), powertrains, smart cabin design, and comprehensive user experience.

Preliminary estimates indicate that FX 6's projected price range will fall between $22,000 and $37,000. Additionally, a lesser-known variant called the FX 5 is rumored to be priced at $15,000 to $22,000. Both models are expected to have optional powertrains and electric variants.

Faraday Future plans to unveil more information about these vehicles in the coming months; however, details regarding their release dates remain scarce for now.
