1. Tencent Tezz9 Set to Make Grand Debut at Guangzhou Auto Show

A glimpse of the upcoming Tencent Tezz9, a new large family car positioning itself as an all-electric and plug-in hybrid option, has arrived ahead of its official unveiling at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

The car is already up for pre-sale, with prices ranging between 33.98 yuan to 41.98 yuan (approximately USD 5,100-$6,200). The Tezz9 is set to be officially launched during the Guangzhou Auto Show, which began on November 21st.

Features and Design

The Tencent Tezz9 boasts a futuristic design language reminiscent of daily Feng, featuring sharp front lights that evoke a sense of aggression. Inside, the car features DLP pixelated headlights, surrounded by a sleek black trim. The rear end also adopts a similar look to its GT variant, with distinct horizontal taillights making it easily identifiable.

Measuring 5220 x 1990 mm in length and width and 1500 mm in height (1518 mm including the roof), the Tezz9 boasts a spacious size. Its wheelbase stands at 3125 mm.

Interior Design

Upon closer inspection, the interior follows the same design aesthetic as its GT variant but includes distinct differences such as a bespoke dashboard.

The interior is a blend of high-tech gadgetry with luxurious touches like brushed leather accents, wood trim inlays, and aluminum trim details. The steering wheel is a four-spoke unit accompanied by an all-digital instrument cluster along with an expansive rear screen for passengers' entertainment.

Performance

The performance lineup at launch includes both an all-electric variant and plug-in hybrids as an option. In the electric model equipped with three electric motors, the maximum power produces as much as 230 kW from a front-mounted motor and 480 kW from two rear dual units, totaling 710 horsepower for each axle. The plug-in hybrid version can output up to 640 horsepower when powered by the optional 2-liter twin-turbocharged in-line engine and reaches driving ranges in excess of 1000 km (specifically with front-wheel drive).

A noteable feature here would be advanced driver assistance technology such as extreme maneuvers, smart crab turns, and more.
