Tesla Introduces Enhanced Autopilot Features with Latest Software Update
Tesla has rolled out its latest software update (V2.1.0) for its vehicles, bringing a range of exciting features and enhancements to its Autopilot capabilities.
The updated version includes 262 new features and improvements across various aspects of the vehicle's technology.
One of the most significant updates is the expansion of Tesla's Autopilot system, enabling the national deployment of Automated Secure Driving (ASD) this year. The no-map definition refers to systems that bypass accurate high-resolution mapping in favor of alternative spatial awareness methods.
This update also introduces a new Cross-Real Scenario Ability and Lane Change Capability while parked (Park Outside), allowing owners to make adjustments on the go. For added convenience, drivers can now restore automated parking functions with simply pressing the door panel.
Regarding Intelligent Seat Experience (SIMO) model upgrade across all cabins, users are treated to enhanced atomic AI capabilities over 70 original additions, along with further development of immersion driving experiences such as customizable three-dimensional map visualizations and environment recognition features including safety, children, road maintenance workers etc.
In an expansion of smart zones at leisure time, Tesla re-activates Pixel Superhuman branding while adding support for creating AI-generated wallpaper on back seats; additional video functionalities have also been added. Enhanced Smart Internet Link is seen in remote heating, cooling control by One-button vehicle pre-preparation (Key Combination).
