First Look: Beijing's Shocking All-New Electric SUV Teaser Dues Out - Could Debut on March 28th

Modern Hyundai Unveils New Electric SUV to Strengthen Product Lineup

On March 26, Hyundai Motors announced a new electric SUV to put on sale in the country. This move is expected to further diversify its product lineup.

The three models currently available from Hyundai are ix35, Quest, and Victus. A brand-new fully electric SUV from Hyundai will be launched on March 28, offering customers a wider range of option for their SUV preferences.

Although specifics about the vehicle's performance have not been disclosed by Hyundai, it is worth noting that the brand recently announced that they will launch an all-new full electric model in 2025 in addition to releasing three new energy vehicles by 2026; one hybrid and two fully electric models. The latter includes both plug-in hybrid and full battery electric models.

The newly launched EV comes with modern and trendy designs, characterized by its angular-shaped front fascia, complete with a closed grille and slender headlamps, that are well matched. Furthermore, the car will feature all-round lamps set in an elliptical frame pattern. Its rear end features similarly designed running through the design of horizontal tail-lights that mirror its unique fronts.

Despite the brand unveiling new electric models this year, Hyundai officials still do not provide more detailed performance information about their upcoming EV, which is expected on March 28.

Hyundai Motor plans to sell 80,000-100,000 units in overseas markets by 2025. As of now, the total number of vehicles sold by Hyundai globally stands at one billion units. Meanwhile, they have sold over a million electric and hybrid vehicles nationwide already.
