Motonova Brand Reveals 2024 Global Sales Performance and 2025 Plan
The Motonova brand has announced its global sales performance for 2024 and outlined its plans for the next year. In 2024, the brand delivered over 770,000 vehicles worldwide, with exports exceeding 240,000 units in Europe alone, and over 74,000 electric vehicles sold domestically in the MGC Motors family.
In Europe, Motonova is stepping up its efforts to launch new products abroad, successfully exporting BEV+PHEV+HEV hybrids under three main technology lines. The MG ZS remains the top exporter, while the MG Cyberster achieved a "zero breakthrough" in electric sports car exports and solved user charging issues in time.
By the end of 2024, the MG3 and MG4 dual-wheeled pure-electric models have been achieving steady sales overseas, exceeding 10,000 units per month, while the SUV duo of HS and ZS has already reached over 15,000 combined monthly sales since their launch half a year ago. The duo is expected to soon break the 10,000 unit mark.
In addition, the new MG5 and MG7 models have delivered over 74,000 units, respectively.
Starting from 2025, Motonova plans to expand its new energy vehicle lineup by adding seven new models in the next three years, targeting vehicles within the price range of 8-30 yuan (approximately USD 1.1-4.2). The brand will also introduce a game-changing GTM mode and redefine the "iron triangle" system.
Another notable milestone is that Motonova brand will soon cross over the 3 million exported vehicles threshold.
