Xiaomi Unveils SU7 Ultra: A High-Performance Version with an All-New Green Paint Job

A leaked photo of the entire car showed a sleek, modern design that departed from previous color options. The new model boasts a distinct green paint job, which seems to be available in two other colors - Yellow Lightning and Cosmic Silver. According to reports, the SU7 Ultra is set to go on sale on February 27th with an initial price tag of CNY 81,490.

Color Options

The all-new SU7 Ultra boasts a fresh coat of green paint that makes it stand out compared to its predecessor. Unlike the previous options, the new car has adopted a lower-key aesthetic profile. This isn't so with aerodynamic elements; everything in this is matched by an existing color.

The interior follows the same design language as the standard model while featuring increased use of materials like carbon fiber and Alcantara. The SU7 Ultra features:

• A new set of 17 individually crafted carbon fibre components that work together to create a total air pressure of up to 285kg.
  • High-performance disc brakes equipped with carbon-capped carbon ceramic construction utilizing Bilstein EVO T1 shock absorbery
• Two new options - one for each side, providing better stability on different roads.

The model has the specifications below:

• Body dimensions: Length x Width x Height x 5115 x 1970 x 1465mm
• Distance between axes: 300000mm

Inside there isn't a rear spoiler visible to the eye. However, according to official reports, one option includes carbon fiber rear flow diffuser, while full air control elements are also present at wheel well.

The interior design still has an adventurous vibe in black and yellow tones. There was no major change in car layout when compared with the standard version. In this model it is all about the materials - there's now increased use of carbon fibre combined with premium materials including "Alcantara."

All this features:

• New 15-inch alloys
  • Three new features: sport wheel design (three types): + Carbon alloy with BILSTEIN springs + aluminum control arm + Aluminum spring & suspension control unit in addition to Bilstein EVO T1 shock absorber configuration. + A three-way 4-arm suspension assembly that uses a Bilstein EVO T2 shock.

The front looks are the same but in this case with all wheels and parts sharing an identical green color.

The rear is more interesting: there isn't one. As mentioned, the front bumper has been changed with additional aerodynamic components (a flow diffuser, spoilers). The suspension features five 1-inch steel rod mounts for each wheel as well as a new coil spring damper (aluminum unit only).

The interior design was already quite aggressive so that's not something we have here:

• Full-size black leather seats with silver stitching
• New sport steering wheel

The steering wheel is more stylish and offers:

*   Sport mode in the central part of it 
    *   Racing wheel mounted controls including: gear shifting + braking/acceleration boosters 
        *   Steering wheel buttons with additional controls 

• A new set up for navigation control including screen on the dash + a new control unit for various tasks (on dashboard).

The car engine:

• Bilateral V8 & V6 Hybrid 12: The performance of the car is very good. There are two hybrid motors working in unison; its total power is around 1,548 horsepower which pushes it to an amazing 0 to 100km/h that can be completed in just one second and a half.
