Tank 400 Hi4-Z Makes Global Debut with Enhanced Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain
A new report from the latest edition of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's list of approved registrations has revealed images of the tank 400 Hi4-Z, a variant of the popular tank 400 model. Key changes for this iteration include the adoption of its flagship counterpart's plug-in hybrid powertrain, a specially engineered platform featuring an uncoupled four-wheel-drive system. This promises to significantly boost the electric range.
Key Details:
- The vehicle has been updated with an improved powertrain similar to that seen on the tank 500 Hi4-Z. The electrical range is expected to increase due to this new configuration.
- Its exterior design has stuck to the existing pattern of the tank 400 Hi4-T, maintaining a strong look with bold angles and sharp lines.
- The front fascia also bears resemblance to the earlier model with large side mirrors placed on either side of it resembling that of an 'attack' motorcycle. This is further supported by flat horizontal upper parts on both sides of the car body. It has big wheels.
- Behind the vehicle a bright Hi4 Z rear tag can be seen, this was present in earlier tank models to display the owner's preference for certain variants. The overall design style still sports that powerful attitude that you often associate with vehicles from 80s and 90s. The angular tail lights have a similar appearance to those found at the front.
- Due to its large size and extra weight of the spare tire, there are fewer doors available compared to other models and the left door opens side ways which will make loading easier for customers like you!
